ANM — Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery
2 YearsTotal Fee: ₹1,10,000/-
A 2-year diploma programme in auxiliary nursing and midwifery. Provides training in primary healthcare, maternal and child health, and community nursing.
GNM — General Nursing & Midwifery
3 YearsTotal Fee: ₹2,90,000/-
A comprehensive 3-year diploma programme that trains you to become a registered nurse and midwife. Covers general nursing, midwifery, child health, mental health, and community health.
B.Sc Nursing
4 YearsTotal Fee: ₹0
A 4-year undergraduate degree programme in nursing science. Coming soon pending INC approval and university affiliation.

Eligibility & Age Criteria
GNM
- Age: 17–35 years as on 31st December 2026
- There is no age bar for ANM/LHV candidates seeking GNM admission
- 10+2 with English, minimum 40% at qualifying exam and English individually
- Or 10+2 with 40% in vocational ANM from INC-recognized school
- Or 10+2 with 40% in Vocational Stream-Health Care Science from recognized CBSE board/Centre
- Or Registered ANM with pass mark
- Candidates from State Open School and NIOS also eligible (Science preferable)
- Student shall be medically fit
ANM
- Age: 17–35 years on or before 31st December 2026
- Age relaxation from 35 to 42 years for Angawadi, Asha workers and Trained Dais (for admission in Government Multipurpose Health Worker Training Schools/ANM schools)
- 10+2 recognized by CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or equivalent
- Female candidates only
- Student shall be medically fit
B.Sc Nursing
- 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) with 45% marks

GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) is a 3-year diploma that trains students as registered nurses and midwives in general nursing, midwifery, and community health. Graduates work as staff nurses in hospitals, clinics, and health centres.
ANM (Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery) is a 2-year diploma focused on community health and maternal and child care. ANMs serve in primary health centres, sub-centres, and government health programmes. ANM admission is for female candidates only.
Nurses are in high demand across India. Graduates can work as staff nurses, ICU and OT nurses, community health workers, and nursing tutors in government and private hospitals, with growing opportunities in Jharkhand, Bihar, across India, and abroad.
The GNM total fee is ₹2,90,000/- and the ANM total fee is ₹1,90,000/-. Registration, exam, and other charges are extra as per norms.
Yes. The college is recognized by the Jharkhand Nurses Registration Council (JNRC), and admissions are conducted through JCECEB as per JNRC and Government guidelines.
Admission is through the JCECEB entrance examination. Apply online at the JCECEB portal using the GNM or ANM application links on this website, then attend counselling and confirm your seat.
